On the 7th the boys and myself took a wander along the banks of the River roach at Stambridge mills. It was bitterly cold, so cold in fact that I wore my big goose down jacket, neck gator thingy and wool hat, but Paddy and choppy still had a good swim around in the frigid salt water, although they were wearing their winter jackets so they must of kept them a bit warmer. I found a couple of clumps of Horse Mushrooms , which I was tempted to take for dinner but did not in the end, growing on the side of the sea defence. A lovely local mornings walk…..
On the 11th I took myself of for an early mornings walk through West Woods in Hadleigh, a local woodland that I have not properly explored before. I have more in depth about my time there elsewhere on my blog so if you would like to read about my walk there and see more photos then click HERE .
