On the morning of the 13th the boys and I went for a wander along the banks of the River Crouch at Fambridge for somewhere different to visit. It was cold and extremely still and calm as we walked towards Wallasea, although we only walked for a couple of miles and then set back to the van. The river was so calm that the water reflected the boats perfectly, except when I tried take some photos and then a ripple would always appear on the water.
On the 17th I was early to my first job of the morning so popped into Pound Woods and had a wee wander whilst drinking my coffee. I love this little woodland and can’t wait until the weather warms up a bit as I plan on doing a few sneaky wild camps beneath its tree canopy.
