On the 7th I had some free time in between jobs and seeing as i was not too far from Southend I opted to spend that spare time eating my lunch by the slipway at the end of Two Tree Island. It was a bit breezy but the skies were rainy blue and the sun was nice and warm. I ate my lunch whilst looking across the marshlands towards Southend Pier. Twas’ a most enjoyable way to spend 45 minutes….
On the 10th I took the boys out for a nice long walk at Thorndon Country Park as we like it there. We had a lovely walk from the South entrance through to the deer enclosure and back, venturing in new ground that i did not even know existed there.
