26th July to 8th August

I only managed a few short local walks at Cherry Orchard this week as I had been really busy with work but at least they were done in nice weather and as per usual the boys enjoyed themselves.

We were looking after a friends little dog, Nelly, who had fun running with the big boys. All three seemed to really enjoy cooling down in the lake and stream at the park, I can’t say I blame them as even though we were walking early mornings it was still pretty warm.

Along one of the tracks there was a large Buddleja bush growing and the smell from it was amazing. I do love Buddleja’s as not only do they smell great but the amount of butterflies they attract is fantastic, definitely worth sitting nearby one if you want to see plenty of ‘flutterbies’.
