I can't believe how clear the water is at Southend I can't believe how clear the water is at Southend nowadays. Usually it is a muddy brown colour, due to the sea bed being mainly estuarine mud, but since the start of the lockdowns its been getting clearer, due to, I believe, the lack of boat traffic running up and down the river which isn't stirring up the mud like they usually do. #bryanscountryside  #beachwalk  #ukbeaches  #thamesestuary
