On the morning of the 10th I took the boys for a nice walk around the end of Two Tree Island. We have been there many times before but not for a good 6 months I guess. The weather was a bit grim and overcast and due to the recent rain and heavy foot traffic the tracks were very muddy, but we enjoyed our selves non the less. i stopped off in the hide there and had my mornings coffee and Choccie took a liking to watching the ducks swim around in the lagoon that this hide over looks. All in all a pleasing hours walk…
On the 13th I had a spare bit of time in between jobs so seeing as I was on Canvey Island I grabbed a coffee and spent a pleasant 20 minutes drinking it at The Point. Further out in the estuary is where an aircraft crashed in WW2 and there is an info board explaining what happened at the top of the sea wall and murals painted on the sea wall to honour the guys who lost their lives in the crash.
