On the 13th I took the boys for a nice through what I am now calling Bryans Woods, because I can’t find what the real name of these woods really is. We had a lovely time stumbling aimlessly around this beautiful woodland finding lots of different varieties of mushrooms.
You can read more about it HERE.
On the 16th it was time for a nice early morning beach walk along the shingle at Shoebury East Beach. I visit this little stretch quite regularly as it is one of my favourite beach walks in Southend. As usual the boys thoroughly ended themselves mud running and swimming in the tidal paddling pool. I took a nice walk out across the mud towards the deeper channel and had a nose in the many small pools left by the retreating tide.
